Cycle 2 Week 2 History: William The Conqueror: Edible Castle

After William the Conqueror took control of England, he built castles to guard his new
property (see below for more details). To help our littles remember about William the Conqueror, we are going to make an edible castle.

Materials

  • graham crackers
  • pretzels
  • cheerios
  • marshmallows

Castle Directions

  • Use a full graham cracker for the castle wall. Break graham crackers into squares for the towers.
  • Cut pretzels to length for flagpole and towers.
  • Cut marshmallow in half to make a door and flag.
  • Arrange on plate in castle shape.
  • Arrange cheerios as water in front of castle.
